In this lesson we'll see more in depth how to add details to water and terrain materials. Water material will have nice interaction with terrain done using a VRayDistance texture to make variations on refraction, waves and colors, same will be done nesting different layers to control glossiness and waves created with noise maps. Then we'll start playing with terrain material nesting gradients and procedural maps to add wet areas, color variations, different strata colors etc etc

It is time to go back to TyFlow setup to add some more details to our terrain and generate two assets, one mid resolution for scattering purpose and one high resolution mesh for rendering, we'll save them on separate files to manage the project in a better way, then we'll take a look at terrain c...

In this video we'll take care about exporting the heavy "render" terrain mesh as a VRayProxy to make it more simple to manage and scene faster to interact with, then we'll work more on the terrain shader, adding details and using the maps exported from TyFlow generator.

In this lesson we'll take care about the notes we wrote about our rendered preview. We'll work a little bit more on water material to make it working better with refraction and "scattering", then we'll prepare a really nice multi-layer terrain material using a VRayBlend and some masks to control ...
